2. Website Use and Eligibility
By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or are accessing the website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
You agree not to use our website or products for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorised purpose.
We reserve the right to refuse or restrict access to our website where reasonably necessary.
3. Product Information and Availability
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, dimensions, specifications, and prices displayed on our website are accurate.
However:
- Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device.
- Product dimensions may have minor manufacturing tolerances.
- Product availability is subject to stock levels.
- Product images may contain decorative items or accessories that are not included unless expressly stated in the product description.
If a product becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and offer you an appropriate alternative or a full refund.
Measuring Your Space
Before ordering, customers are responsible for checking that the product will fit the intended space.
For large or heavy outdoor furniture, you should also check:
- Garden and patio dimensions.
- Door and gate widths.
- Access paths and entrances.
- Stairways and other access points.
- Vehicle and delivery access.
We cannot be responsible for a product being unable to fit through a customer's access points where the correct product dimensions were available before purchase.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices displayed on our website are in GBP (£) and include UK VAT where applicable.
We accept major payment methods displayed at checkout, which may include:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- PayPal
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
Payment is normally taken when you place your order.
We reserve the right to change product prices at any time. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted and confirmed.
Pricing Errors
While we make every effort to ensure that prices are correct, an obvious pricing or technical error may occasionally occur.
If an order has been placed at an obviously incorrect price, we will contact you before dispatch and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or receive a full refund.
5. Orders and Contract Formation
After placing an order, you will receive an automated order confirmation containing details of your purchase.
This confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
A contract between you and MASTERS OUTDOOR LEISURE LTD is formed when we accept your order and dispatch the products, at which point you will receive a dispatch confirmation.
We reserve the right to cancel an order before dispatch where there is a genuine reason, including stock availability issues, pricing errors, suspected fraudulent activity, or an inability to fulfil the order.
If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund of any payment already made.
6. Delivery and Heavy Goods
Delivery information is provided in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
Many of our outdoor furniture products are large and heavy and may require specialist or pallet delivery.
Kerbside Delivery
Unless otherwise agreed, heavy and palletised goods are delivered on a kerbside basis.
The delivery driver is not normally insured or required to:
- Carry furniture into your home.
- Carry furniture into a rear garden.
- Carry furniture upstairs.
- Assemble furniture.
- Move goods over difficult terrain.
Customers should arrange suitable assistance where necessary.
Access Requirements
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address is suitable for the delivery vehicle.
Where applicable, access may require sufficient space for a large delivery vehicle, including vehicles of approximately 7.5 tonnes or larger.
If access is restricted, please contact us before placing your order so that we can assess whether delivery is possible.
Failed Delivery
If delivery cannot be completed because:
- Nobody is available to receive the delivery where attendance is required;
- Access is unavailable or unsuitable;
- The delivery address provided is incorrect;
- The customer refuses delivery for reasons unrelated to product damage or a legal right to reject the goods;
additional delivery or redelivery charges may apply where permitted by law.
7. Cancellation and Returns
If you are a consumer, you may have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
For most eligible online purchases, you have 14 days from the day after receiving the goods to notify us that you wish to cancel.
After notifying us of your cancellation, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Condition of Returned Goods
Where you exercise your statutory cancellation right, you should take reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession.
Where possible, products should be returned:
- Unused and in their original condition.
- With all components and accessories.
- In the original packaging where reasonably possible.
- Properly protected for transportation.
You may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functionality of the goods.
Return Costs
Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise do not conform to the contract, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where we have informed you of this before purchase.
For large or heavy products, return transportation may require pallet or specialist collection and can therefore be significantly more expensive than standard parcel returns.
We will provide information about applicable return arrangements when you contact us.
Refunds
Where you exercise your statutory cancellation right, we will process your refund without undue delay and normally within 14 days of:
- Receiving the returned goods; or
- Receiving evidence that the goods have been returned,
whichever occurs first, subject to applicable law.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.
8. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
We recommend inspecting your delivery as soon as reasonably possible.
If your goods arrive visibly damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and provide photographs of:
- The product.
- The packaging.
- Any visible damage.
- The delivery label, where applicable.
You can contact us at:
Email: contact@mastersoutdoor.co.uk
Phone: +44 1384 637526
We request that delivery damage is reported promptly to help us resolve the matter quickly. However, nothing in these Terms limits or removes any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or does not conform to the contract, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable UK consumer law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund.
9. Warranty
Where a product is supplied with a manufacturer's warranty, the applicable warranty period and terms will be stated on the relevant product page or accompanying documentation.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, any manufacturer's warranty applies only to defects covered by the manufacturer's warranty terms.
Warranty coverage does not normally include:
- Fair wear and tear.
- Accidental damage.
- Damage caused by misuse or improper installation.
- Damage caused by failure to follow care or maintenance instructions.
- Damage caused by improper storage.
- Damage resulting from unauthorised modifications.
- Damage caused by extreme weather or environmental conditions beyond the product's intended use.
- Commercial use where the product is intended for domestic use only.
This warranty does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
10. Outdoor Furniture Care and Maintenance
Outdoor furniture is exposed to changing weather and environmental conditions.
Customers are responsible for following the care and maintenance instructions supplied with their products.
Where applicable, products should be appropriately covered, stored, cleaned, or protected during periods of adverse weather.
Failure to follow the manufacturer's care instructions may affect warranty coverage but does not remove any statutory consumer rights.
11. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the above, we will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses where such liability can legally be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
